Friends, my plan for today's blog post was about BOLD prayers. The story was written and ready to launch, but life happens and the best laid plans change.

As I cleaned out the planters on our back porch (which have embarrassingly been sitting there for an entire winter) another post came to me. The Holy Spirit impressed that we are sometimes like these planters.  We hang on to what is in us and we don't clean out, throw away and move past what was there.  We leave what was dead and dried up in these planters and don't take the time to clean them out and prepare a place for fresh, new life to grow.

How many times are we like these planters?  Keeping the old and not making way for the new?  We need to be open to God's season of change within us and accept that taking away will always make room for more goodness.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 - To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
